JOB OPENING - Deputy Marshal
The Village of Magdalena is accepting applications for a Full-Time Certified or Non-Certified Deputy Marshal. Great salary range with a sign-on incentive, and additional benefits after 1 year of completion of Law Enforcement Academy. We are looking for outstanding individuals for this position. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent; candidates will need to pass a written exam and physical agility test, a post-offer pre-employment physical, psychological and vision examination; and candidates must pass a drug screening. Non-certified candidates must complete the requirements of the Law Enforcement Academy within 12 months after being employed.
A scenic work environment under basic supervision, serves and protects citizens and property, and preserves the peace in the Village of Magdalena through the patrolling of assigned areas, monitoring traffic, impartial enforcement of laws, detaining and interviewing violators, apprehension of suspects, service of civil process, court security and responding to calls for assistance and performs other duties as assigned.

SENIOR CENTER - COOK / SITE MANAGER
The Village of Magdalena is accepting applications for a Full-Time Senior Center Cook / Site-Manager. Salary range is dependent on qualifications. Qualifications include: A high school diploma or GED and possession of a valid driver’s license (Class B). Applicants must be willing to attend training and obtain a Food Certification, and willing to attend on going training at certain times of the year.
